Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A. will have a virtual presence at BIO 2016. The company be recruiting and hiring for their biologics manufacturing facility in Brooklyn Park through a DEED job kiosk at BIO that links to the company’s website.
This is the company’s first manufacturing facility in the United States. Takeda acquired it in January and will use it primarily to manufacture the prescription medication Entyvio® and other biologic products.
Takeda, the largest pharmaceutical company in Japan, develops and markets medicines for treating cancer, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes and other health problems.
