Minnesota Paid Leave is a new division within Minnesota’s Department of Employment and Economic Development charged with implementing a paid family and medical leave program that operates with minimum friction and maximum impact.
Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of all people and businesses in Minnesota by delivering a paid family and medical leave program that:
- Provides financial support and job security for families and individuals during life’s crucial moments.
- Helps employers recruit, retain, and invest in their workforce.
- Builds strong partnerships with employers, providers, and community organizations.
- Creates a model for delivering equitable, transformative services.
