Where has the summer gone? The month of August marks the final sprint of summertime. August always feels like a race to get in the last summer activities before students return to school and the leaves begin to change. This August brings special excitement as the world comes together to cheer for their favorite athletes in summer Olympic events. The city of Paris will welcome Paralympic athletes for competition from August 28 to September 8. Back here in Minnesota, we get set for the State Fair to mark Minnesota’s unofficial end of summer. Whether you relish quiet days lakeside, picnics in the park, or the bustle of county fairs, find time to soak it all in and enjoy this last month of summer. Like an Olympic sprinter, August is sure to race by quickly!
