Sam Jasmine - Access Education, LLC
13005 34th Ave N Plymouth MN 55441 Sam Jasmine 612-245-2367 |
Assistive Technology, Keyboarding, Braille | My name is Sam Jasmine and I have had my company Access Education for over 15 years. Currently I teach notetakers such as BrailleNote Touch/Apex, and BrailleSense*U2 products. I teach Keyboarding where we enhance or learn touch typing skills and memorization of where the keys are. I also teach grade 1, and grade 2 braille. As soon as I am permitted, I will be adding Kurzweil and OpenBook reading software to my teaching. I have taught people from age 5 to 75 with both vision and learning disabilities. My secret to teaching is that there is no 1 method that fits all. In order for a student to learn, they must have some skin in the game and want to achieve. In order for a teacher to teach, they must be willing to teach outside the box, and find the method that works best for the student. When looking for a community partner, ask what sets them apart from other community partners. |
