I am a Rehabilitation Teacher for people who are low vision or blind. Helping individuals survive vision loss by training and mentoring. Areas such as household, personal, recreational, employment, and more. My objective is to enhance their lives, promote independence, while gaining self-confidence. I provide valuable training in life skills which may include but not limited to: adjustment to blindness training, indoor mobility training, uncontracted braille, and community resources. I have personally lived with low vision my entire life that is why I feel so compassionate about helping others. We all have the ability to use our determination to find a different way to be successful. |
