Jan Saxhaug was a regional analyst for the seven county arrowhead region in northeastern Minnesota. He has a bachelor's degree in history from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and a master's degree in public policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Prior to graduate school and joining DEED, Jan spent six and a half years on active duty in the U.S. Army, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He has moved on to another position outside of DEED.
