Matt Bombyk was a research analyst specialist senior at DEED. He has a master’s degree in applied economics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a bachelor’s degree in economics and biology from the University of Minnesota-Morris. His research at DEED concentrated on measuring the alignment between postsecondary fields of study and occupational demands of employers. Before joining DEED, he spent nearly three years in Mongolia studying the impact of social programs there. He has since moved on from DEED.
