The unemployment rate ticked up to 3.2% in Minnesota in October from 3.1% in September on a seasonally adjusted basis.
The number of unemployed rose to 100,080 workers, and the number of employed decreased to 3,014,263 workers. The labor force shrunk slightly to 3,114,343 workers, and the labor force participation rate held at 68.5% for the fourth consecutive month.
The U.S. unemployment rate rose to 3.9% in October on a seasonally adjusted basis. The labor force participation rate ticked down to 62.7%.
